A bit about us:

ROB

Lead singer, rhythm guitar & lead guitar

Rob was a gifted jazz flute player, but with a career cut short due to a life of excess on the high class wine bar circuit, he ditched it all to play hits from 'the greatest rock album in world ever'. Rob can now be found singing and playing guitar when he's not otherwise employed lifting speakers, coiling cables or trying to work the mixer. Rob's playing has been heavily influenced by John Cage's 4'33" all the way through to Eric.

Rory

Bass guitar & backing vocals

A lover of 90's rock and grunge, Rory joined 9 Volt after a period of inactivity and immediately jumped in with both feet and even has a 2nd band on the go!  He likes keeping himself busy!

Holding down the low end, Rorys the sound you dont realise is making you want to dance.

Trev

Rhythm guitar, lead guitar & backing vocals

Trev has a strange blend of influences, from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Pantera, Aerosmith to ZZ Top and all kinds in between.  Generally if its rocking, blues-based or containing amazing guitar playing, hes into it.  

After playing guitar for 30 years (as of this year) he can pull off most any style, cover song and classic solo you could throw at him!

Rarely seen without a Kiss t-shirt, 9 Volt's human metronome's biggest influence is the gorilla from the chocolate advert, except with a lot better technique!

As soon as he steps behind the kit, you know 9 Volt has arrived.
